Abounding Prosperity is a nonprofit committed to health, social and economic services for Black communities, with special emphasis on Black gay and bisexual men, cisgender and transgender women, and their families.
Its work advances wellness, education and self-sufficiency through direct services and community connection.
Our story
Rooted in South Dallas since 2005.
2005
Abounding Prosperity was founded to address disparities affecting Black communities, including Black LGBTQ+ people and their families.
Today
AP connects health access, prevention, behavioral health, housing support and community programs through a wider vision of stability and well-being.
Forward
AP’s mission continues through care, stability, education and community connection rooted in dignity.
